• It was an act committed by a group of extremists and not condoned by Libya
• The attack was on the road in between the consulate and a safehouse. So it was not on American soil and in no way an act of war
• Chris Stevens died of smoke inhalation. He was not “slaughtered like an animal”, “torn to bits by the mob”, or “dragged through the streets”
• Those photos of him in the streets are of Libyans trying to get him to the hospital

These are the facts. They don’t make the killings any less senseless or horrible, but they do stop some of the rumors and insanity that have been going around. Shit like that is dangerous, guys. Thanks, and have a good day!

Factchecking about ‘Sam Bacile’ the man behind the moive

•         Sam Bacile real name is Nakoula Basseley Nakoula and is a 55-year-old Egyptian Coptic Christian and convicted felon. NOT AN AMERICAN CHRISTIAN
• His film if there really is any footage beyond the 14-minute clip—did not cost anything like $5 million to make. There is no cabal of Jewish donors who put up the money.
• Jewishjournal.com published a piece outlining five reasons “Jews didn’t make the anti-Mohammad movie.” and The fact that the film was publicly promoted by Morris Sadek, the head of the National American Coptic Assembly, also suggests a Coptic connection to the film.
